Festival fun is on the agenda this coming Friday at Barasti Beach.

Already voted as the best bar in Dubai, Barasti has created a marathon nine-hour event, featuring none other than seven DJs and live acts across two separate rooms.

Headlining the main stage will be UK group UTAH SAINTS - http://www.myspace.com/utahsaints - while up-and-coming four-piece Da:Funct Soundsystem will be playing live followed by Dubai house champions, Da Sendri and Smokingroove. This stage is all about the party Hip Hop, sunset Funk, Nu-Disco and Disco grooves and some seriously heavyweight house to finish.

Head indoors to the Barasti club and you'll find the Globalfunk Arena, with Mach 4 - the man responsible for bringing beats and breaks to Dubai - pushing the best in upfront drum and bass, dubstep and breaks, with support from Da:Funct.

Described as the first 'stadium house band', Utah Saints will be making their Dubai debut at Barasti. They had a string of huge hits in the 90s with 'What Can You Do For Me' and 'Something Good', and were one of the first groups to extensively sample pop records.

They've toured alongside U2 and REM, have remixed Blondie, The Human League and The Stone Roses, are both turntable champions (Tim is a DMC finalist) and avid record colllectors, and currently DJ across the world playing all manner of party-starting tunes. Their own club night, SugarBeat, has taken over the UK, and they've hosted everyone from 2ManyDJs to Annie Mac, Justice and Zane Lowe at their nights.

They've had 7 Top 40 hits, sold over 2 million records, headlined festivals around the world, and are currently working on their latest album. And of course, they'll be bringing their decades of DJing experience to Barasti for their headline set.

And not only are we providing an incredible line up of live acts and DJs, but there'll be BBQs, beach games and goodies and giveaways.
