Kele Le Roc shot to fame with her top 10 hits ‘My Love’ and was the vocalist on the Basement Jaxx massive track ‘Romeo’. From producing tracks covering Uk Garage, RnB, to Drum n Bass with Shy FX, Kele has evolved into a mainstream artist with music being good music, not confined to a genre! Her soulful voice and energy on stage keeps her diary full to the brim and her collection of tracks remain dancefloor favourites! Kele will be performing a 30 minute live PA with her tour DJ C Sar.
Le Roc began singing at the age of three, and she attended Langdon Comprehensive School in East Ham. She first found widespread acclaim in 1995 with the underground hit "Let Me Know".[3] She scored two Top Ten hits on the UK Singles Chart, with "Little Bit of Lovin'" in 1998 and "My Love" in 1999; and both peaked at #8.[4] In March 1999 she released her only full-length album, Everybody's Somebody, on Polydor Records.[5]
Le Roc won two MOBO Awards in 1999, for Best Newcomer and Best Single ("My Love").[3] Among those she collaborated with are Basement Jaxx, Coolio, Courtney Pine, T Power, Omar Lye-Fook, Damage, Lee Henry and Shy FX.
