☀ We keep saying it, but thank you. Last week with residents we celebrated another smashing night, great music courtesy of Mike Daniel, Mr Mr and Raxon, great company, and best of all an electric vibe... must be the music.
☀ This week we fly in from colder climates, a DJ/Producer making waves in the industry with his unique and damn right infectious sound, one whom I have supported on my Thursday night audio tonic studio session show, and one who will have you yearning for more more more.

balErik is one of the leading DJ's in the Oslo underground House Music scene. Playing since 2001, he has been nominated for best DJ of the year, for 3 consecutive years, with his club night 'Dirty Groove' also being nominated by the same Oslo Clubbing Magazine for best club night of the year.
He is currently in his 5th year of residency at Oslo's most popular nightspot 'Club Sikamikanico', the longest running House Club in Oslo (into its 11th year)
He's played with some of the best DJ's in the world, Desyn Masiello, Omid16B, Demi, Danny Howells, Rowan Blades, Seamus Haji, Luke Fair, Nic Fanciulli, Audiofly and Yousef, with his blend of Deep House to driving Techno, taking him to gigs in cities around the world which include London, Murmans in Russia, Warsaw & Schezin in Poland, Pula & Rijeka in Croatia, San Francisco & Miami in the US, Sofia in Bulgaria, Helsinki in Finland, Stockholm & Gothenburg in Sweden, Riga, Daugapils and Balvi in Latvia.
In his spare time, you can find him producing, hunting for tunes, creating edits and special remixes which have gained support from Digweed to Deep Dish, and has recently signed an EP with his partner Vadim Yershov to the Timewriters Plastic City label from Germany.
To top it all off, he also acts as an A+R scout for the infamous Alternative Route record label from the UK, where its his job to find the unsigned diamonds for the future.
In 2007 he set up a new digital label, Discoteca Music, with his mates Dana Bergquist, Tom Morgan, Luke Fair and Somnus Corp. The label just reached its 11th release and is getting stronger and stronger, with future releases being featured on Renaissance and Global Underground compilations.
