iLL Communications continues this season with the most cutting-edge DJs to grace the shores of Dubai. Thursday, November 12th OHM Events Presents Vienna Club Night with Austrian DJ Peter Kruder at the Rooftop, Madinat Jumeirah. Peter Kruder is best known as one half of Kruder & Dorfmeister and also for his solo project Peace Orchestra. Being the master of mixing nu jazz, future funk and soulful samples into up-tempo minimal loops he, burns the dancefloors all around the world.

His first experience at the turntables was at Youth Center Ottakring in 1983, and has since been a mainstay in the electronic scene for the past two decades. As one-half of the DJ collective Kruder and Dorfmeister, along with Richard Dorfmeister, Kruder rose to interna-tional fame through their remixing of trip hop, dub beats, downtempo, and pop, and through their live sessions in England on the DJ Kicks album. In addition, he is also part of the three-member Voom Voom and an alias act, Peace Orchestra.

What is most apparent while listening to Kruder as producer is that he simply adores music. His innate understanding of music and the making of music is an indubitable factor in his ability to consistently release excellent material. You can also use these adjectives for his DJ sets. Depending on the mood of the crowd, Kruder plays a wide spectrum of records: from hard and fast peak-time standouts to slow, soulful and eclectic tunes for when a little refreshment is needed. To promote his upcoming release, "Visions Ltd", on Gigolo Recordings, Kruder prepared an energy-focused mix that lives up to all expectations, keeps us in motion and is chock-full of present and future classics.
