An evening of passion, drama and virtuoso string music.

The Baldaquin Ensemble takes audiences through Spain as imagined by composers across Europe, from Bizet, Rossini and Tchaikovsky to Albéniz, de Falla and Turina.

The programme brings together instantly recognisable melodies from Bizet's Carmen, Rossini's The Barber of Seville and Tchaikovsky's Spanish Dance from The Nutcracker, alongside Albéniz's rhythmic Tango, the vivid colours of de Falla's Cuatro piezas españolas and Turina's evocative La oración del torero.

The heart and soul of Spain, told through strings.

This concert is part of Strings & Dreams - Virtuoso Sunday Series, performed by the Baldaquin Ensemble.
