Fred Perry Sub-Sonic Live feat. Dave Rowntree (Blur) DJ Set

Fred Perry 'Sub-Sonic Live' is returning for its sixth series on Thursday 26th May 2016 at the popular nightspot, 'Stereo Arcade' in Jumeirah Beach Residence. The gig will be headlined by David Rowntree, the highly talented British musician best known for being the drummer of iconic rock band, 'Blur'.

The night's supporting acts include the Lebanese alternative, electro-rock act Gurumiran. Along with musical guests, he will be performing from his first solo album 'Aberrance'. The album is a collection of compositions, combining a variety of musical styles such as jazz guitar with electronic overtones reminiscent of pioneers like Depeche Mode, New Order and Thom Yorke.

Representing the UAE, Vandalye is one of Dubai's newest alternative bands. The band is compiled by some of the UAE's most talented band mates including Scott Attew, Lucas McCone and Thomas McCone with their recording EP being launched on the 29th of May 2016.

Celebrating Fred Perry's unique relationship to music and street style since the 1950s, Sub-Sonic Live promises acts that, until now, would never have appeared on the same line up, bringing together the best new music and music heritage from the past 50 years, alongside amazing DJs.
