Long-awaited Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas to serenade audiences this Eid in Dubai

The ‘velvet voice of India’, Ghazal maestro, Pankaj Udhas is set to captivate Dubai audiences with his nostalgic rendition of ghazals spanning the past 40 years, in his new timeless symphony concert at the Dubai World Trade Centre on the 6th of May.

More than just a form of music, Ghazals are a beautiful combination of poetic expression woven into a unique musical symphony around the feeling of heartache and separation and the beauty of love despite that pain. As one of the driving patriarchal forces who brought Ghazals to the mainstream market, the renowned singer has been charming audiences around the world with his soft tone and unique style of singing.

“I am looking forward to performing to my supportive and loyal fans in Dubai. For me every concert is different and there is nothing better than the intimacy and audience interaction of a live performance,” shares Pankaj.

Accompanied by an orchestra of 15 magnificent musicians, on the enchanting strings of the violins to the majestic boom of the dholak and tabla, mandolin and the mesmerising flute, Dubai fans will be serenaded with a selection of all-time golden oldies and film songs that have become household favorites such as Chandi Jaisa Rang Hai Tera, Aur Aahista, Aur Is Tarah Kijiye Batein, Jeeye To Jeeye Kaise as well as the ever popular, Chitthi Aayee Hai, which still brings tears to every music lovers’ eyes.

This is another Blu Blood Experience in association with Eid in Dubai and promises to be the ticket of the season, as Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas, in all his magnificence, takes the audience on a magical musical journey.
