WRECK - List of Extinct Species

WRECK - List of Extinct Species is an evocative contemporary dance performance, combining movement, sound, and visual art. Directed by Pietro Marullo of the Insieme Irreali Company, WRECK features a huge floating sculpture that moves across the stage like a hunter. Is this a modern Leviathan, an image of humanity itself, or the shadow of an upcoming catastrophe? Let your imagination wander.    The performance of WRECK takes place in Concrete, the first building to be completed in the UAE by the world-renowned Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), founded by Rem Koolhaas. Nestled in the heart of Alserkal Avenue, Dubai’s cultural district, Concrete is also the first Dubai-based project to be shortlisted for the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.   Doors open: 8PM Performance: 8.30PM 30 September + 1 October 2019 Concrete, Alserkal Avenue   Limited tickets available, and seating is on a first-come first-served basis.
