Arabian Entertainment House is thrilled to announce that we are hosting the sensational Lebanese comic actor, TV personality, and stand-up comedian Mario Bassil in the brilliant Theater Mall of the Emirates. Mario Bassil is bringing his unique personality and distinct style of comedy to the UAE in an 18+ show on the 27th of March at 8 PM in a night of fun, laughter, and pure entertainment. Chadi Maroun will also be joining Mario’s show to entertain the audience with his accurate impressions of Lebanese and global political personalities.

Mario Bassil is a Lebanese comic actor, TV presenter, producer, director, and stand-up comedian. Mario was born in Beirut. He graduated from Beirut University College with a BA in communication arts and studied Cinematography in France. After graduating from college, Mario worked as a creative producer and assistant director in advertising for major companies, such as “The Talkies” and “DMB&B”. He has also produced and acted in multiple theaters and Hollywood productions, such as “The Adventures of Jack Hunter.” He is best known for his controversial character “Marioca” and his daring work in “Comedy Night”, a theatrical series that tackles social and political topics, which Mario directed, produced, and starred in. Mario’s success spread onto the small screen as he was a finalist on the LBC TV program “Celebrity Duets” and a presenter for the MTV program “Allayle Jnoun.”

Mario’s shows are a perfect blend of social critique, political satire, and pure comedy, but Mario’s talents aren’t rooted in comedy alone. He was able to show off his incredible range as an artist by starring in the Lebanese series “Mouniaa Fi Loubnan” for five years. His long and successful career has garnered him many awards and achievements including a Murex d’Or award for “Best Comic Actor” in 2009. Mario’s standout style is second to none and has made him one of the Arab world’s most prominent comedians.
