гениального композитора, жизнь и судьба которого пронизаны множеством драматических событий ХХ столетия.

Погружаясь в тексты писем Рахманинова и в воспоминания его современников, мы открываем лирическую, крайне ранимую душу и сложнейшие перипетии трагической судьбы этого внешне успешного и благополучного человека. Годы становления, первые успехи и катастрофические провалы, растущее признание, замкнутость в депрессии, вынужденная эмиграция, непрекращающаяся тоска по Родине и постоянная работа...

Музыкальная линия спектакля представлена известными фортепианными сочинениями и произведениями композитора для камерного ансамбля.

Перекликаясь с бессмертной музыкой Сергея Рахманинова в исполнении Александра Кашпурина, Сергея Словачевского и Ренаты Бахрах, драматические артисты прикоснутся к тончайшей ткани мыслей, радостей и тревог композитора и его ближайших родственников и друзей – сестёр Скалон, Натальи Сатиной (жены Рахманинова), Мариетты Шагинян, Шаляпина, Станиславского, Льва Толстого, Чехова и других.

Важная роль в спектакле отведена художественному свету и видео сопровождению, которые связывают форму и содержание, придавая спектаклю особую красоту и эмоциональность.

Исполняется на русском языке с английскими субтитрами.

Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff was a brilliant composer, sought-after pianist, and universally recognized conductor. Yet, it is only through his letters and the memories of his close friends that we uncover his lyrical, deeply vulnerable soul, his sparkling, sometimes childishly mischievous humor, and the complex twists of his tragic fate.

The musical and dramatic performance "Rachmaninoff. Unanswered Letters..." blends musical arts and dramatic theater to bring to life the brilliant personality of the Russian composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The musical aspect of the performance features renowned piano pieces and chamber ensemble works by the composer.

Multimedia content, documentary footage, and artistic lighting are seamlessly integrated into the stage narrative. Combined with the actors' nuanced performances, they create a deeply emotional and engaging experience for the audience.

During the evening, Arthur Vakha and Laura Pitskhelauri, accompanied by the brilliant music of Sergei Rachmaninoff performed by Alexander Kashpurin, Sergei Slovachevsky and Renata Bakhrakh, will explore the intricate thoughts, joys, and anxieties of the composer and his closest relatives and friends - the Skalon sisters, Natalia Satina (Rachmaninoff’s wife), Marietta Shaginyan, Chaliapin, Stanislavsky, Leo Tolstoy, Chekhov, and others.
