It was so nice to have smaller varied plays brought to Dubai which changes things up from the big productions and musicals.

The actor was incredible and the way the play was written was so smart and clever.

Given the prestigious role of lead firemen in one of the boiler rooms aboard the maiden Titanic, Barrett’s journey began as countless had before. But on the evening of April 14th, Barrett’s boiler room suddenly ripped apart, and the freezing Atlantic came crashing through…

Barrett's fight for survival is one of the most devastating accounts of the last few hours of Titanic. Boiler Room Six gives a voice to the sacrifice of the working men below deck who kept the ship afloat for as long as possible, saving hundreds of lives, whilst knowingly giving up on their own.

The play premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2024, selling out its entire run, and receiving widespread acclaim, including being awarded the Best Overall Show of the festival by the Derek Awards. Written and directed by Tom Foreman, 'one of the most exciting playwrights of this generation' (TheatreWeekly.com).

By car: Al Serkal Avenue is located in the Al Quoz industrial area of Dubai, and it can be easily reached by car. If you're coming from Sheikh Zayed Road, take the Al Manara exit (exit 43) and turn right onto Al Manara Street. Continue straight until you reach the first intersection and turn right onto 8th Street. Keep driving straight until you reach the roundabout, take the second exit, and continue onto 17th Street. You'll find Al Serkal Avenue on your left.

By public transportation: To reach Al Serkal Avenue by metro, take the Dubai Metro Red Line and get off at the Noor Bank Station. From there, you can take a taxi or a bus to Al Serkal Avenue, which is just a short drive away.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Al Serkal Avenue from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
