FIBA West Asia Super League Final 8 in Dubai

The West Asia Super League (WASL) stands as a prestigious international basketball league that is meticulously organized by FIBA Asia. It serves as a platform for basketball clubs hailing from Western Asia and the Gulf regions, along with representatives from India and Kazakhstan, to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

In an exciting turn of events, the inaugural FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) Final 8 is scheduled to captivate basketball enthusiasts in the bustling city of Dubai. This highly anticipated tournament features six teams that have emerged from the competitive WASL Sub-Zone Leagues. Joining them in the Final 8 are the champions from Kazakhstan and India, adding an extra layer of anticipation and global representation.

To determine the ultimate victor, the Final 8 teams will be strategically divided into two groups, each comprised of four teams. These teams will go head-to-head in the Group Phase, where the top two teams from each group will progress to the Semi-Finals. Unfortunately, the journey will come to an end for the teams finishing third and fourth in their respective groups.

The Semi-Final stage will witness intense battles, as the winners from each Semi-Final clash will advance to the grand finale. The title of the first-ever WASL champions hangs in the balance, making the Final a heart-pounding winner-take-all affair. This historic tournament promises to be a captivating showcase of the region's finest basketball talent, delivering an unforgettable and thrilling sporting spectacle for fans and participants alike.

How to get there: 
By car: Take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and exit onto Al Ittihad Road (E11). Continue on Al Ittihad Road towards Al Mamzar until you see signs for the stadium.  

By public transportation: Take the Green Line to Al Qiyadah Metro Station. From there, use local transportation or a taxi to reach the stadium, which is around 3 kilometers away.  

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Shabab Al Ahli Stadium from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
