------------- ART AFTER DARK - AEROSOL ART & STREET ART SERIES ------------- LIVE ART & EXHIBITION BY A DIFFERENT ARTIST EVERY SUNDAY LAUNCH ARTIST ENFORCE1 (CUT COLLECTIVE) MUSIC BY BREAK DJ LOBITO 6:30PM - MIDNIGHT About Art After Dark: Aerosol art (known by the media as graffiti) & street art have been on the rise in the UAE for several years but mostly the main players have only been known to people in the community and not supported by the mainstream galleries. This series taking place every Sunday is a rare opportunity to see the diverse artwork of local & guest international street artists & "writers" and shed light on what is often underrated talent. DEEP CRATES CARTEL is proud to be presenting the work of a different artist each week, allowing each artist to show their diversity as well as creating a new piece live on the night. We kick off the series with an exhibition by New Zealand artist Gary Yong aka ENFORCE1, a founding member of the CUT COLLECTIVE. One of the most talented street artists from New Zealand, Gary won an international art competition and was flown to Dubai to perform and display his work, since then he has been contributing to the local scene and building a body of work inspired by UAE culture and traditions. For the launch event ENFORCE1 will be exploring different mediums both in the exhibition and the live art aspect.
