We invited the guys rocking the best clubs and events in Lebanon to play an energetic set in our backyard. It’s something you won’t want to miss ! Since Louie loves you a lot, he also invited Thara Bergen to take over the decks. The Amsterdam kid will be dropping some insane beats for the first time in Dubai, and that makes us wanna whoop whoop. His sets were appreciated and supported by the nation’s finest promoters and DJs whether he played at the biggest clubs in Lebanon, at crowded beach resorts in Jordan or underground bars in Paris. Inspired by a mixture of music, vocals, sights, DJs, friends, sun, urban living & love, Phil's raw & emotive sound is distinctively recognized by its deep funky instrumentation, old school taste, piano hooks, chopped vocals, all keeping it jackin' & soulful! Early 2011, Phil joined his fellow infamous DJs Ronin & Nesta on their Beirut In the Mix journey establishing solid residencies in Beirut city and spreading their love for house all over town. Having made a name for himself as one half of dynamic duo Ronin & Nesta - thanks to a handful of high profile gigs and key releases on Hypergroove, Family Matters and Mile End Records - he has achieved a level of quality and discipline in the craft that is unsurpassed. Over the years, he has built a trust with the Middle-East music lovers, becoming a solid staple and enabling him to play alongside the most vibrant and forward thinking artists in the business, including the likes of Marco Carola, Tale Of Us, Apollonia, Craig Richards, Martin Buttrich, Sasha, Luciano, Josh Wink, Magda and John Digweed to name just a few. When she moved back to Amsterdam in 2002, she gradually got used to the city life and its parties. In 2006 she stepped into the techno scene herself. Thara has now been actively spinning for 7 years, her gigs vary from a smaller venues to large crowds. Her raw yet funky sounds are influenced by both the warm weather and the city life. Her preference is house & techno, varying between grooves, vocals, and pumping beats with a twist.
