The Fridge Presents: The MVMNT

Khaleeji hip-hop has matured into a dominant musical force, and The Fridge has dedicated an entire new night to it. The MVMNT launches with three of the UAE's most-followed voices for the first edition.

74 Original, an Abu Dhabi-born rapper who has accumulated 129 million YouTube views working almost exclusively with producer DEE PRODUCTION. His catalogue spans personal storytelling and Gulf-rooted drill, and tracks like "في الخليج" have found listeners well beyond the UAE. On stage, the music carries the same weight it does on record.

Darky has been part of the Dubai rap scene since 2016, earning a Musivv nomination for Debut Recording Artist of the Year along the way. His records move between introspective storytelling and heavy contemporary production, with a following that stretches across the GCC.

DiNhOoO was among the first artists in the UAE to build a sound around autotune, at a time when rap, R&B and hip-hop had a fraction of the regional audience they have today. His records have since moved across hip-hop, Khaleeji-style singles, reggaeton and indie rock, earning him a Billboard Arabia Mazzika nomination and a loyal following built across the GCC and Egypt.
