“I’m Fine” is Alexander Nezlobin’s new stand-up show featuring completely fresh material. At most, one or two jokes might sound familiar. Well, maybe three or four, considering the comedian’s age.
The show is about family being close by, immigration without the heroics, everyday little things that suddenly turn into full-blown quests, and a daughter who adapts to a new country faster than the adults. It’s about fears, doubts, and situations that are not funny at first, but become very funny later.
Alexander Nezlobin is one of the most recognizable comedians on the Russian-speaking comedy scene, a Comedy Club resident since the project’s early years, as well as a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and director. He is loved by millennials, even those who do not know they are millennials, and by Gen Z, who sum up their impressions simply: “plus vibes.”
