Analog Room continue's to bring you cutting edge underground acts from around the globe, this time the Dubai debut of Mr. Matthew Burton. Salah Sadeq on warm-up. 75 AED + 21 *Ladies Free till 12* Line-up: 10pm-12am Salah Sadeq 12am-03am Matthew Burton (Ultrastretch, Visionquest) ---------------------------------------------------- Matthew Burton has been involved in the electronic scene for over 10 years now, his passion for quality underground dance music starting with trips to the Bomb nightclub in Nottingham when still in his teens. The seed had been well and truly planted, and soon Matthew began producing his own music. Instantly hooked, he’s been solidly making underground, groove-ridden, spaced out sounds ever since, working first of all with a local label, Nottingham based Shrink Records, followed by collaborations with Connect Four and London’s Multivitamins, Leftroom and Retrofit. Alongside producing, Matthew started to play regularly at Stealth nightclub in Nottingham, and momentum picked up for spinning records in his local area of the Midlands. A move to Berlin in 2008 saw him able to play at top venues like Panorama Bar, Club der Visionaere, Weekend Club and many more, alongside trips across Europe to perform. When it comes to djing, Matthew’s style is very eclectic and sees him combining slow, trippy house and techno with dark electronica, squeezing in elements of dub reggae and african influences here and there. When behind the decks, he’s not afraid to slip between styles – arguing that what really matters is a strong feeling of groove and soul to the music. Burton produced the launch EP for Sammy Dee’s Ultrastretch project, and is currently focused on releasing for Ultrastretch and Retrofit – alongside his own label launched at the end of 2012, SHIFTED FLOW - which he runs together with production partner Kate Rathod. Tracks produced with Nick Lawson have appeared on Visionquest, Cityfox and Fear of Flying – while tracks from Matthew and Kate Rathod have featured on Visionquest, Organic Art Movement and Retrofit.
