C.I.M & GLITTER presents ‘No.1 FRIDAYS' withDJ ADAM J - LONDONS WEST END MOST TALKED ABOUT DJCAREERDJ Adam J started his career at the age of 13, he woke up one day and decided to buy a pair of turntables, little did he know years later he would become one of London’s top club DJ’s. Adam J is now signed to Westside Radio 89.6FM, where he has a regular slot every Friday night 1am – 3am with his co host EvE. His DJ dream all began when he bought his first pair of turntables (red dwarfs) and his first ever record (DJ Dee-Kline ‘I don’t smoke’). Adam J always had a love for music and entertaining people, he enjoys listening to all types of music from Hip Hop and RnB to house and 80’s, but when starting his career as a DJ he got lured into the House and Garage scene. After performing at many birthday parties and on many pirate radio stations Adam J realised to make it big in the game he had to make a drastic change. He then started buying RnB and Hip Hop records, music that was being played in all the bars and clubs. Adam J got his 1st break through when a friend of a friend introduced him to America’s no1 promoter ‘Mike L’, this partnership then brought Adam J his biggest achievement to date, he was performing on stage side by side with Americas top RnB sensation Akon, Adam J was given the warm up set to hype up the crowd for Akons concert at Hammersmith Palais in 2007.
