1. Treppan Hotel & Suites, the hotel near the stadium, sold us a defective suite. None of the electrics and appliances worked & it had a massive flood in which we lost property. Further, they made us pay for our entire stay upon check in, and no refund! Hope Vivo IPL has nothing to do with this hotel.

2. At the stadium we were stopped from taking our binoculars inside although this was not one of the prohibited items on your list. Had we known this we wouldn’t have spent money to travel to see the match live. We are avid cricket match goers but this is the first time this has happened.

3. The quality of the vegetarian food wasn’t great.

4. Stadium atmosphere was one-sided and bizarre. Perhaps the organisers could come up with more creative and funny chants, rather than the unimaginative fans just screaming ‘C-S-K, C-S-K’ over the mic. Indians having so much musical and poetic talent, I’m sure we can do better!

The VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the leading T20 tournaments in the world, which is a confluence of global cricketing talent. Since 2008, the tournament has captured the imagination of cricket fans all over the globe thanks to some dazzling performances and exciting matches.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is no stranger to the tournament having played host to a part of it in 2014 and in its entirety in 2020. The VIVO IPL 2021 returns to the UAE to commence the season and entertain fans with some exciting cricketing action. The COVID-19 pandemic meant that the 2020 edition and the first half of the 2021 season were played behind closed doors. However, the tournament now welcomes its loyal fans back to the stands, albeit in limited capacity.

Requirements for all Attendees

No vaccination or negative PCR test is required to attend the matches in Dubai.
All attendees are required to maintain social distancing and to wear their face masks at all times.

Requirements for Attendees 2 years old and under:

Do not require a ticket, but must sit on the accompanying 21+ years old adult (who has entered in accordance with the above entry requirements).
Tickets can be purchased for this age group if the guest would like an allocated seat.
