French Cello DelightThe Franz Schubert Filharmonia returns to the stage of Dubai Opera on Tuesday 8th April 2025, where they will present a concert as part of the 14th InClassica International Music Festival, organised by SAMIT Event Group. On this occasion they will be led by Spanish conductor Tomàs Grau, as they look to enchant audiences in the UAE with a collection of classical favourites performed alongside the distinguished French cellist Edgar Moreau. A prizewinner at the 2009 Rostropovich Competition and 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition, Moreau has made a name for himself as one of the most accomplished maestros of our time, regularly appearing in some of the biggest concert venues in the world. Among his many accomplishments, the cellist is the recipient of two Victoires de la Musique Classique in 2013 and 2015, as well as the 2014 Young Concert Artist Award, while his 2014 debut album was also awarded the ECHO Klassik Award.
