Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

The Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, is located around the 8-mile Dubai Creek watercourse. Home to approximately 270 species of fauna and 47 species of flora, the place has noticed a great deal of change. Natural habitat with a backdrop of Dubai’s skyline, the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a peaceful retreat in Dubai. Ras Al Khor translates as the ‘Cape of the Creek’ represents an enclave of wilderness amidst traffic and growing urban infrastructure.

Identified as a globally important Bird Area (IBA) by Birdlife International and reflected as an unique wetland within UAE.

Timings

Saturday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Winter time of the reserve from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM

Getting There

By Public Transport: Get down at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station, take bus 61 (every 20 mins)
By Car: 2nd Zaabeel Road from Trade Center.
