SoundOpia was born in 2015 as a NYE desert festival concept focused around freedom of speech, music and community with one goal in mind: To Celebrate NYE in an Alternative & Free Style, similar to that of category leaders like Burning Man. Since then, SoundOpia has gifted UAE residents with the first official festival events, happening every Full Moon and New Years Eve and caters for those who like something out of this world - away from city traffic and walled-in clubs, and promises something more meaningful, soulful & creative, hosted in the most spell-binding festival grounds under the open sky and stars.
As the 3rd and biggest edition yet, SoundOpia is inviting all peaceful, loving and raving souls to the Grand NYE 2018 Festival that will last 2 nights and 3 days, promising an atmosphere unlike anything that’s happened before.
Get ready with your tents, cooler boxes, booze, food, sheesha, BBQ bon fire and more as we start Saturday 30th of December and go non-stop until 15h00 Monday 1st of December.

(You can still buy fresh healthy Juices & food from Food Trucks, Live BBQ and beverages at the venue if you need more). The bar won’t serve alcohol so be sure to bring your own! But they will serve water, soft drinks & vitamins to those who need hydration to sustain their health to keep going!

• HOURS: 44 Hrs - 6pm Saturday the December 30th until 2pm Monday the January 1st.
• DOORS OPEN: 6pm Saturday the December 30th until Monday morning 8 am, January 1st
• ENTRANCE FEE: Platinumlist crew will be at the Gate scanning online tickets & accepting Credit/Debit Card as well as Cash payments for Entry.
1) First Release: 200 Dhs (Available only first 100 Tickets) (For 2 Days & Night)
2) Second Release: 250 Dhs (Available only first 400 Tickets) (For 2 Days & Night)
3) Third & Last Early Release: 275 Dhs (Available until December 24th) (For 2 Days & Night)
4) Capacity Release: 300 Dhs until 1800 people reached. Once we reach capacity we will be unable to let more people in. Please keep checking the event page to be sure of this. (For 2 Days & Night)
5) Door Price Capacity is not reached: 350 Dhs (For 2 Days & Night)
6) Single Day on Entrance on 31st Online: 200 Dhs
7) Single Day Entrance on 31st at the Gate: 250 Dhs

* For NYE Festival in RAK at Bassata Village, we will have professional security company looking after your safety from Door to Camping for a safer and happier journey. They will protect the venue all around to keep outsiders and non-ticket holders away from our safe haven ;)

IMPORTANT & CONSTRUCTIVE NOTES TO REMEMBER
+ Please NOOO TRASHHHH Shall be left behind. This is your living zone, your planet, respect and love it and it will love you back.
+ Cars will be parked outside the Venue in safety to their allocated places. We will have some walking distance for late-comers. Your bags and boxes, tents etc will be carried via Buggy Shuttles provided by the venue. It is free and safe.
+ Respect each and everyone at the festival. Share the positive beautiful energy and vibes and encourage them to grow! Share happiness to be happier.
+ Check attitudes & ego at the door.
+ Bring along all your hippie and creative stuff. If you have fire or electronic pois, hula hoops or any juggler items, feel free to bring and enjoy and even teach others how to do :) Sharing is one of the greatest gains :)
+ Families are more than welcome with kids and until 12, they are all free. However please remember this is a music festival :)
+ BYO (Yes, Bring literally everything you like. Your own food & any drinks you would like to consume without any extra charge. Bring Your own tent if you will sleep. You will only pay the entrance fee only and everything else you can bring in without charge)

+ ARTISTS: if you have any creative items, paintings, accessories and you would like to share it or sell your innovative creations at the festival, please feel free to bring them but send message to us (SoundOpia) over facebook before.
+ Color yourself up with UV friendly paint to glowww at night ;)
+ Please bring cash for the bar if you would like to use it.
+ LOCATION: Please Open GOOGLE MAPS and write BASSATA VILLAGE or write SOUNDOPIA LAND. It is not in RAK city, it is before reaching the RAK at Exit 119 on E311.
+ SECURITY
There will be 12 dedicated & venue staff to help and guide you.
There will be First Aid kits ready at all times. Kindly reach to the main entrance in case of emergency or see any venue staff with walkie talkies.
+ ACCOMMODATION & Bathrooms
+ Your Own Tent:
You can set your tent wherever your heart feels like :) make sure not in the middle of the stages thou :)
+ Surrounding Hotels: Ritz Carlton - 5 mins drive & Bedoin camp - 5 mins drive
+ Male & Female Toilets & Showers are provided by the venue and will be cleaned regularly. There will be a staff always there to clean. If you see any uncare facility, please tell us at the spot to get it done. Please keep the papers away from the toilets but put in the bin

Many people literally cant believe and say "Hard To Believe It is actually Happening in a Commercial World like UAE" but as SoundOpia, we wanted to keep up the festival vibes in UAE as well since we miss all the greatest mental beautiful fests happening in the world from Nevada to Melbourne, from Koh Phangan, Goa to Belgium and Portugal. Finally we made it happen in the most economic way while letting people bring their own everything and be themselves. All these happened with lots of sacrifice, belief in sharing the happiness to be happier. Belief in creating positive energy and leaving all the ego and hatres behind because positivity will pull more positivity, true happy faces will make other faces truly happy. We will do again the same just like at every SoundOpia Full Moon Festival! Leave behind all the unwanted energy that tried to fill you up through the working weeks, switch off everything and come with simply positive feelings to share a mental festival weekend together.

CHILL OUT Area + TECHNO STAGE + TRANCE STAGE
A Beautiful Chill Out Tent to keep you warm with UV lights and arts surrounding the place. The moment you walk in, you will feel the magic. You can rest here, chit chat and hear some psychill and ambient music to meditate, yoga and chill some.
Techno Stage (Rooftop) a whole non-stop journey under the moon with full view of the venue and sofa areas at the rooftop, you will get the very well lined up Local & International Artists.
Main Trance Stage: With internationally created, beautiful decoration, there will be a Magical Music Journey Non-Stop for 2 days and 2 nights with Epic Sound System built like never before and some of the most renowned psytrance producers & local artists.
