Making his debut in the Gulf multi award winning Alasdair Becket-King will be treating the region to a master class in truly intelligent stand up.
Another first timer on the Laughter Factory is Sarah Callaghan.
Armed with bags of attitude, we are about to get a much needed wake up call about women in stand up. Sarah Is fast gaining a reputation as one of the funniest comics currently touring the UK.
Finally, Edinburugh Fringe favourite Adam Bloom boasts a string of sellout tours at the world best comedy festival. This “Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ regular, has one of the fastest comedy minds on TV.

Meet the comics

Alasdair Beckett-King

His debut solo show The Alasdair Beckett-King Mysteries was a finalist in the Amused Moose Comedy Award 2017. It made Dave's top 10 jokes of the fringe, and went on to sell out at the Soho Theatre.
ABK is a literal Renaissance man. A man for two seasons (autumn and winter). A stand up comedian and animator, ABK has written and performed for BBC radio, and for several indie video games. His stand up clip for 'BBC Scotland Short Stuff' went viral in 2017, with over 2 million views, and you wouldn't believe how little that impressed his dad.
Alasdair has performed stand up across the UK, in Germany, Norway and Romania, at the Utrecht Comedy Festival, at Glastonbury, Latitude and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Adam Bloom

Adam Bloom is one of Britain's most inventive comedians. He has performed sell-out solo shows at the ‘96, ’97, ’98, ’99, '01, '04 & '07 Edinburgh Festivals as well as performing a sell-out tour of Britain. He has also sold out theatres at festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington & Cape Town. In July '13, Adam made his fifth appearance at ‘Just For Laughs’ in Montreal, including being part of 2004 'Just For Laughs Comedy Tour', playing to 42,000 people in 17 cities across Canada. He has also written three series of ‘The Problem with Adam Bloom’ for BBC Radio 4.
