Story of the Creek

Discover how trade with the outside world began and guided Dubai’s extraordinary development. Also, view an inspiring film that allows visitors to immerse themselves in personal stories that bring the neighbourhood to life.
The Perfume House

A 25,000-square meter landmark, the Etihad Museum tells the story of the Union, at the time when it was founded. Located near the Union House site — the historic site of the signing of the Union Agreement in 1971 — and near the flagpole on the Jumeirah Beach Road, the museum building is in the shape of a manuscript, inspired by the Unification Agreement, with the seven leaning columns representing the pens that signed the declaration of the constitution in 1971.
