For two years Chi has been trying to book South African DJ Lady Lea, but she's always been too busy... so don't miss the “Queen of Clubs” when she finally hits Dubai’s number one nightclub on Friday 23rd July.
 
Twenty nine year old Lady Lea is one of the most popular DJs in South Africa, and the most booked. And it’s not just because she’s a female. She has been a guest DJ at every major club in South Africa and toured Europe every summer season for the past 5 years, taking in Ibiza at the same time. She's played at the German Love Parade to over 1.2 million people and on a weekly basis is featured on various TV and Radio shows. 
 
After working at a major record store in the UK, Lea returned to South Africa in 1999 and opened Flipside Records, which would later become her recording studio and Record label – Flipside Recordings. She soon progressed to DJing, first with CDs and then vinyl. She now plays both in sets that include electro, funky, deep, tech, minimal and progressive house. Recently, she’s even added Drum ‘n’ Bass to her repertoire under the alias “Crazy Lady”.
 
In 2009, Lady Lea launched the female DJ agency Divas on Decks, a group of three female DJs; Lady Lea, Kate Sutherland & Lalicia. Lady Lea is the only diva from the group still DJing full time, but Divas on Decks now has the best South African female DJs on its books as well as female DJs from around the world.
 
Warming up the decks for this one is none other than Charl Chaka, quite rightly a big name in both SA and Dubai, and a DJ whose jackin’ house style is the perfect way to start a South African house party!
