With a guest lineup taking in the likes of Yousef, Clive Henry, Bushwacka (Layo & Bushwacka), Rodriguez Jr, Dj T, Detlef and Jimpster, the SHIBUYA lineup has always stayed true to it’s core roots - quality House music. Closing down an award-winning season (Best House/Techno Night at the Hype Music & Nightlife Awards 2015 + Highly Commended House Music Night at the Timeout Dubai Music & Nightlife Awards 2015) the SHIBUYA team brings a man who is heralded as a true stalwart of the British Underground Music scene. As founder of the 2020Vision record label and member of the live band 2020Soundsystem, Lawson produces music alongside Carl Finlow as 2020 Vision, and have produced classic music for Blaze, Chez Damier, Arthur Baker, Josh Wink and many more. It’s his accolade as having one of the longest running residencies in the world at the legendary back to basics club which makes this man stand out further. Lawson has been a regular at Fabric London since it opened and mixed Fabric 33 for their mix series. Lawson has toured the world and played at clubs such as; The Hacienda, The Sub Club, Womb Japan, D Edge Brazil, The Loft Barcelona, Deep Madrid, as well as major festivals including Glastonbury, T in The Park, Creamfields, Global Gathering, The Glade, 10 Days Off and many more. He was nominated in 2009 for ‘Best British DJ” along with 2020Vision for ‘Best label’ by DJ magazine and has won five major awards during his residency at Back To Basics.
