Their debut album The Fourth Wall has been exceptionally well received by press and fans alike, award nominations and UK top 40 chart success has followed its release. At the end of 2014 the album regularly appeared within top 10 lists across all genres. Ulterior Motive have performed at festivals and clubs across the globe to rapturous audiences, the pair have become known for their DJ sets from London to Colombia. As producers they’ve remixed notable artists, collaborated with the cream of drum and bass producers and have been requested as sound designers for forthcoming projects in new media. Its initial aim was to give local talent a platform on which to show its talents and drag them out of the bedroom and into a DJ booth. the following Local Legends have all graced the decks or MIC at GlobalFunk Gus, Drop MC, MC PRIT, Prav, DJ Point, Slingshot, Scud B, Shadi M, DJ Solo, Doumpa, Wael Hattar, Sheebs, Ramzi, Tribal Nova, JC, Abhi, Obiphonics, Danny Neville, Chadio Tokis, Kymera, Mr Gremlin, Somalie, MC Ollywood, Paz, Da:Funct, Orifice Vulgatron, DJ Solo……. Although the local talent still plays a strong part in any GlobalFunk night these nights were the first to bring International Drum n Bass DJ's and MC's to Dubai and the region. Legends such as Andy C, Roni Size, DJ Marky, DJ Hype, DJ Zinc, Fabio, Goldie, Doc Scott, DJ Storm, Shy FX, Stamina MC, MC Rage, London Elektricity, MCAD, Marcus Intalex, MC GQ, Dynamite MC, LJT Bukem and many more have all passed through a GlobalFunk dance....
