Join us for an immersive, two-act cinematic experience as the Fly High Dance Academypresents our 2026 Annual Showcase: "A Journey Through Time."

This year, our talented students—ranging from our youngest stars at 4 years old to our senior dancers at 16—will take you on a rhythmic expedition across the centuries. The performance is a celebration of human expression, tracing the vibrant evolution of dance and music from its earliest roots to its untold future.

In a special expansion for this year’s production, we are proud to integrate the talent and flare of our Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics departments. By weaving athletic precision and apparatus work into the narrative, we are creating a truly unique fusion of art and sport that highlights the versatility of our athletes.

The showcase is meticulously structured to reflect the history of movement:

Act I: The Foundations of Rhythm – Our journey begins with the raw, powerful movements of Ancient Rituals and travels through the elegance of the Renaissance, the high-energy swing of 1920s Jazz, and the passion of the 50s Tango.
Act II: The Modern Revolution & Beyond – The second half explodes into the modern era, featuring the iconic grooves of 70s Disco, the grit of 90s Rock, and the urban flow of 2000s Hip Hop. The journey concludes with a breathtaking finale inspired by the Future—an abstract look at where movement will take us next.

Every piece in this showcase features age-appropriate choreography and music, specifically designed to challenge our students while honoring the historical context of each era. More than just a recital, this show is a living timeline of how dance has adapted, shifted, and flourished through different musical ages.

By car: New Covent Garden Theatre is in Mall of the Emirates, Level 2 The closest parking is on Level 2, Orange Zone A5 & A6.

By Dubai Metro: Take the Red Line and get off at the R32 - Mall of the Emirates station.

By taxi: Ask for Mall of the Emirates, most drivers will know it well Ask to be dropped off at the Taxi Drop-Off point (Entrance A) Use the lift or take the escalator up to Level 2.

From inside the mall:
Make your way towards the Fashion Dome, Level 2
Exit the mall via Entrance B (near Missoni and Zegna)
Once outside, turn right and walk along the pathway in the parking towards Orange Zone A5/6
