Christmas in London is about to get a little more magical as A Christmas Carol arrives at Theatre by QE2 in December 2026.

Charles Dickens’ timeless tale returns to the stage in a bright and playful production designed to bring the festive season to life for audiences of all ages.

With humour, magic and plenty of Christmas spirit, the show offers families a chance to experience one of literature’s best-known stories together.

At the centre of the adventure is Bob Cratchit, whose world is turned upside down by the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge.

While Christmas celebrations fill the streets of Victorian London, Scrooge remains determined to keep the festivities at a distance.That changes on Christmas Eve.

A supernatural encounter with Jacob Marley sends Scrooge on a journey unlike anything he expected.

As he comes face-to-face with moments from his past, the Christmas he is living through and the future that may await him, he is given an opportunity to reconsider the life he has chosen.

The result is a story filled with warmth, comedy and a powerful reminder of what the festive season is really about.

With Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, Mrs Cratchit and Scrooge at the heart of the story, this production combines familiar characters with a lively theatrical approach that makes the classic accessible to younger audiences while giving grown-ups plenty to enjoy too.

The show comes from the creative team behind The Great Christmas Elf Bake-Off, The Great Elf Escape, Sinbad The Sailor, Around the World in 80 Days and The Wizard of Oz.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the Queen Elizabeth 2 from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
