Makarand Despande's Ma in Transit Dubai 2016

Theatre veteran & legend Makarand Desphande who has written and directed more than 40 plays comes to Dubai for the first time to perform his heart-wrenching play in Hindi.

With over 40 plays to his credit, writer-director-actor Makarand Despande's devotion to theatre is unmatched. For the first time ever, he would be performing his emotional and famous play "Ma in Transit"

The play deals with how a son (played by Makarand) tries to pro-long the delay of his mother's last rites perhaps he could spend more time with her (played by Late Amjad Khan's Daughter Ahlam Khan.) A deeply moving play taking back the human mind to realizations and forbidden conversations.
