Violin/ Piano concerto - witness two fascinating Virtuosi on there instruments, in an vibrating and emotional dialogue from Mozart, Chopin to Saint-Saëns.

The great violinist Sandrine Cantoreggi performing on the historic and unique Guadagnini violin from 1754, together with Sheila Arnold, piano on 12th October 2019 in the magical athmoshpere of the Royal Ballroom at the One & Only Royal Mirage.

About Sandrine Cantoreggi:

At heart, Sandrine cannot imagine life without music. It is through her violin that she focuses her emotions and thoughts. Her mode of communication is the sound of the violin.

Born in Bordeaux, Sandrine Cantoreggi started at the Conservatoire de Musique de Luxembourg and was admitted to the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris at the age of 14. His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg awarded her the order of civil and military merit of ‘Adolphe de Nassau’ and ranked her a knight. For her staggering career and musical excellence, The Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, is proudly supporting Sandrine by providing the violin created by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini in 1754.

Throughout the years, she shared the stage with numerous music personalities including Yehudi Menuhin, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Georges Octors. Touring from United States, England, Georgia and Japan and performed on prestigious European stages such as Salle Gaveau & Orsay Museum (Paris), Gewandhaus (Leipzig), Rudolfinum (Prague), Monnaie (Brussels), and Luxembourg Philharmonic.



About the event:

• Concert doors open at 19:00 and close at 19:55.

• Concert starts sharp at 20:00. Late comers will only be permitted after the intermission.

• Dress code: cocktail / formal.
