For an artist to perform a 1.5 hour standup routine non stop and improvising on the spot, and maintaining a high level of crowd engagement is unbelievable. And the final 10 minutes of the show which brought the whole set to a close was the best I have witnessed in a live show. She was bare, raw and painfully vulnerable to the point where she left quite a few eyes teary in the audience. Her set has stayed with me much after it got over...

Sumukhi Suresh is a comedian, actor, writer, show runner and most importantly a show off. She was the Host and went to become one of the Judges on the Amazon Original Comicstaan. She created and starred in the acclaimed Amazon Prime Original Pushpavalli which won her a Filmfare (SRK has 15). Her first stand up special Don’t Tell Amma (Amazon Prime) was well received by audiences but not by her mother. She was recently named one of the BAFTA Breakthroughs from India, getting her one step closer to working with Shonda Rhimes

How to get there
By car: Take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) towards Al Barsha South/Dubai Sports City, then merge onto Hessa Street (D61), and the academy will be on your right.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Dubai Heights Academy from anywhere in Dubai. It usually takes around 20-30 minutes to reach the academy if you're coming from the downtown.
