He has held residencies worldwide including London, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai for leading international promoters including Kinky Malinki and MustHaveSoul and promoted a number of his own successful events. He first started DJ-ing in 1994 and played his first club in Dubai two years later, returning the following year for 6 weeks playing weekly at The Lodge and Cyclone. Back in the UK, he started a residency at The Mansion House (formerly Sterns) for over 2 years which was one of the most popular venues on the south coast. Tom began receiving bookings all across the South Coast at The Manor, The Empire, The Ocean Rooms, Rutherfords, The Q Club and many more. In 2003 he started breaking into London playing at several bars, leading to a residency at The Rhythm Factory and several appearances at the infamous after-hours party, Soda at Madame Jo Jo’s. In 1999 Tom started Plain & Simple which eventually led to him promoting his own events at Ministry of Sound (Plain & Simple & G-Club Live), Turnmills (G-Club Live) and The Glasshouse (Work Experience) before starting a monthly night at The White House (La Nuit) for 9 months as well as the monthly G-Club Live event at The Vibe Bar for nearly 3 years. In recent years, his success has continued with appearances including 5 times in a row on New Years Eve at The White House, twice at the legendary Southport Weekender, the Vocal Booth Weekender in Spain (September 2013), Ibiza, Dubai, Thailand, Poland, Greece, Lebanon, and more. In 2011, Tom moved to Dubai and has made his mark playing at the best venues in the City and the Capital, Abu Dhabi including 360, Nasimi and Monte Carlo Beach Club. In 2014, Tom released his debut track – Put Your Arms Around Me – as one half of Akimbo with Simon Reid. This was quickly followed by his first official remix for Kidology Records in July 2014 and Dazzle Drums – Outta Space on Centric Music and his first original track ‘Breathe’ on Reel House Records in December. 2015 kicks off with The Chubby EP on Conkrete Digital with vocals written and sung by Hamama Dove. GARY HOWARD Hailing from Lincolnshire, UK and now residing between Dubai & Thailand, DJ/Producer Gary Howard has spent many years playing a balancing act with his many genres of music, from over 5 decades of pop music to modern day electronic sounds, knowledge of perfecting them all is somewhat of a unique skill. From the first time he played at local private parties (at the not so tender age of 16) and experiencing the crowds positive reactions, it was he understood from a very young age that there was more to just playing music, he discovered that a DJ’s overall mission is to entertain. So it began... With this new philosophy Gary began concentrating on improving his mixing skills and knowledge of music business. Age now on his side he quickly progressed on to bigger parties, club residencies, and various guest slots nationally and internationally. By now his ability to please the crowd has earned him an accolade of fans and respect from many top promoters both in the UK and Internationally. From small beginnings in his hometown of Stamford where he Co-Promoted and DJ for some of the leading UK record labels & Music Brands at the time. Gary has gone on to DJ in venues in most Towns & Cities throughout the UK and also internationally such as Greece, Spain Holland, France, Dubai, Oman, Bahrain Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong to name a few. Also this extends to some of the exclusive parties and product launches, most famously Sacha Jafri meets Andy Warhol the Majlis Gallery Global tour. Countless fashion shows, Motor Racing after parties, Nokia, Siemens and Motorola Global Product Launches, Radio Broadcasts, Sporting events and various after show parties for chart topping singers and bands. Gary continues to play for a wide range of venues, from Clubs, Bars, Pool & Beachside, Lounge/Restaurants his endless energy feeding off the vibes and spontaneous feedback, combining the skills and wealth of knowledge he has developed and embraced over the years to keep his style fresh and unique, with his passion of the Retro era, he endeavors to combine the old with the new. DAVE MAYER Dave Mayer (real name David Meijer) was fascinated by music from a very young age. The Dutch youngster (born in 1986) created his fine style and feeling for music by listening to the big variety of music styles in his father’s record collection. In the late 90s he got interested in the funky and groovy sounds of house-music. He started playing house at small parties to gain experience, to get used to playing for a crowd and to learn from other DJs. Dave Mayer’s career took off in 2006, when he got the opportunity to spin at the beautiful Hotel Arena, Amsterdam. One of the residents cancelled and gave Dave the opportunity to prove himself, and so he did. Dave was asked to play across the country, together with biggest Dutch DJ’s in house music, like Roog/Hardsoul. In 2007 he started to produce his own tracks, which brought him a worldwide appreciation. His first project, a remix of JJK’s ‘Primitive Future’, was picked up by Defected’s Copyright and got released on Soulfuric Deep. Dave was now also getting requests to play outside of Holland. Nowadays, under the wings of Hardsoul, Dave has proved to be a talented producer with his high quality remixes and tracks on labels like Strictly Rhythm, Soulfuric, Hardsoul Pressings and more. Dave’s wide interest in house music makes him able to play at those intimate, deep and soulful parties, but also work the crowd with techy sounds in the bigger rooms. Dave’s latest EP on Strictly Rhythm is charted number 1 in Traxsource’s Top 100 chart, world’s leading website for underground house music.
