The Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2011 brings back its three main diverse elements offering over 50 hours of spectacular live entertainment.

Starting with the 2nd edition of the JAZZ WORLD at The Walk “JBR” hosting free-for-all outdoor concerts. The Jazz World 2011 will feature a line up of local, European, and American blues stars.

Followed by the 3rd edition of the charming du JAZZ GARDEN at Dubai Media City featuring a mix of some of the finest British and international jazz artists and musicians. The admission to the Jazz Garden is free for online registration.

Tying up with the MAIN GIGS, the three consecutive nights will host ticketed mega concerts featuring international pop stars all taking place at Dubai Media City Amphitheater, the home of the Dubai Jazz Festival.

MINDI ABAIR & PETER WHITE:

MINDI: (born May 23, 1969) is an American contemporary jazz saxophonist with a strong Top-40 pop music background. Mindi has toured and/or recorded with hundreds of pop and jazz stars. www.mindiabair.com

PETER: (born 20 September 1954) is a smooth jazz/jazz fusion guitarist. He also plays the accordion and the piano.

MACY GRAY: A sensual artist, and a unique singer songwriter, with 5 studio albums under her belt and a 15 million albums selling record, Macy Gray scored two Grammy Awards, two MTV awards and “I Try,” had one of the most successful singles of all time. LIFEHOUSE: For the duration of Los Angeles-based Lifehouse's ten-year career they've been delicately balancing two identities: radio-ready song craftsmen and raucous live rock and roll band. On their forthcoming fifth studio album, Smoke & Mirrors, the band finally unites these two personalities.
