Of the 32 teams, 20 will be making back-to-back appearances following the last tournament in 2014, including defending champions Germany, while Iceland and Panama will both be making their first appearances at a FIFA World Cup. A total of 64 matches will be played from June 14th, culminating with the final in Moscow on mid JULY!

The timetable includes the group stage will run from 14th of June to 28 June. The Round of 16 will begin from 30 June to 3 July. The Quarter Finals will be organized on 6 and 7 July whereas the Semis will be held on 10th and 11th July. Then the Final will take place on the 15th July 2018. There will also be a third-place match on 14th July.
