This official international tournament, governed by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), brings together national teams from Belgium, Serbia, Georgia, Australia, Croatia, and the United Arab Emirates is to compete at the highest level of Division II ice hockey.

Hosted at Al Hili Ice Rink in Al Ain, the championship will welcome players, team officials, and international referees for a series of competitive matches conducted under IIHF regulations. This landmark event marks the first IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship ever hosted in the UAE and the wider region, showcasing the country’s growing presence on the global ice hockey stage.
