Original Strauss Capelle Wien

Through its lively and sensitive interpretations, the Original Strauss Capelle Wien, one of Vienna’s most renowned orchestras, has made an excellent name for itself, both at home and on international festivals and tours. Now, for the first time in the Middle East, the world famous compositions of the Strauss Dynasty will come to life in Dubai, brought to you by RNH Events and DSF 2014.
First founded in 1823 by world renowned musician Johan Strauss, the Strauss Capelle soon became a favorite amongst Vienna’s royals, and a staple act at famous balls and soirees all over the continent. In 1843, they were honored by His Imperial Majesty Franz Josef I, to wear the prestigious red tail-coats, that distinguish outstanding artistry- which are until today a signature of their performances.
The concert will take place at the prestigious Emirates Golf Club on January 18th 2014, from 6pm onwards (show starts 8pm). This will be a one of a kind musical experience; Maestro Rainer Roos will take you on a journey through the waltzes and polkas, which are still as vibrant today as when they were created centuries ago, that captivate and transport its audience to the classical music kingdom of Vienna. Along side the brilliance of Conductor Roos and his orchestra will be the famed Opera Singer Marcella Cerno.
