This is the story of two thirteen-year-old girls abandoned to their fate in the midst of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. Only children, sick old people, cripples, and helpless women were left behind in a remote village. Everyone is waiting for the humanitarian corridor, but it is not opened, and there is practically no hope for salvation.

This is a story about war, about growing up, about a person’s relationship with time and space in which he is forced to find himself. Despite all the horror of the events and circumstances described, there is a lot of humor here - after all, the story is told from the perspective of children, who, even against the backdrop of a great disaster, are occupied with small private things (so important for every child).

“Soso Daughters” is an independent theater project launched in 2018 under the leadership of the director and playwright Zhenya Berkovich. On May 4, 2023, Berkovich and her colleague Svetlana Petriichuk, also a playwright, were arrested on criminal charges of “justifying terrorism” in the production “Finist, the Bright Falcon”.
