1.This Raffle Draw (“Competition”) is run by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (“DFRE”) with its business office at P.O. Box 594, Dubai, UAE, an affiliate of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (“DCTCM”) (collectively, “we”, “us” and “our”).
2.The Competition is governed by these rules (the “Rules”) and all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.
3.These Rules refer to our Privacy Notice, which also apply to your participation or any entry you make into the competition. Our Privacy Notice sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. By participating in or entering into the Competition, you confirm that you agree to comply with our Privacy Notice and you warrant that all personal data provided by you is accurate. If you do not agree to the terms of our Privacy Notice, you must not participate or enter into the Competition.
4.We may amend these Rules or amend or cancel the Competition at any time at our sole discretion, subject to applicable approvals.
ELIGIBILITY
5.Only individuals (and not companies or other entities), of any nationality, whether residents of the United Arab Emirates or international visitors, who hold an eligible ticket type as set out in these Terms & Conditions, are permitted to enter the Competition (each an “Entrant”). Our employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of and the employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of DCTCM and its wholly-owned subsidiaries (collectively, “DCTCM Entities”), their immediate families (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, or any other individuals connected in any way with the Competition (decided by us at our sole discretion) are not permitted to enter the Competition. By entering the Competition, an Entrant is deemed to have accepted these Rules and the terms of these Terms & Conditions.
6.Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the date of entry. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) are not eligible to enter or participate in the Competition. All Entrants must be able to provide valid proof of age and identity upon request. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification from the Competition.
ENTRY CONDITIONS
7.An entry is made to the Competition for free (an “Entry” and “Entries”) in the following ways:
(a)Successful purchase of a 1-day Adult ticket grants one (1) Entry
(b)Successful purchase of a 3-day Adult ticket grants three (3) Entries
(c)Successful purchase of a 1-day Family ticket (covering two (2) adults) grants two (2) Entries
(d)Successful purchase of a 3-day Family ticket (covering two (2) adults) grants six (6) Entries
Student tickets are not eligible for entry into the Competition and do not generate any Entries.
For the avoidance of doubt, eligible tickets purchased prior to the official announcement of the Competition will automatically receive the corresponding number of Entries, provided such tickets remain valid and are not cancelled or refunded.
The Competition begins at the time DEF 2026 tickets first go on sale to the public via the official ticketing platform and ends at 11:59 PM (Arabian Standard Time) on 24 May 2026 (“Closing Time”). The period of the Competition shall be referred to as the “Competition Period”. We may, at our own discretion and without notifying the Entrants, change the dates and times of the Competition Period.
SELECTION PROCESS AND PRIZES
8.Participants may receive multiple Entries into the Competition, strictly in accordance with the entry mechanics set out in these Terms & Conditions. The number of Entries per Entrant is determined solely by the number and type of eligible tickets purchased during the Competition Period. Entries that are not generated in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, or that are incomplete, corrupted, illegible, or otherwise invalid, shall be void. We are not responsible for any Entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not properly recorded for any reason. Any Entry associated with a refunded, cancelled, or voided ticket purchase will be automatically withdrawn and deemed invalid. Refunded or cancelled tickets do not qualify for participation in the Competition.
9.The winner of the Competition (“Winner”) will be selected, in our absolute and sole discretion, among all valid Entries received during the Competition Period by random draw. Our decision of the winning Entry shall be final and binding and you agree that you do not have a right to a dispute or claim with respect to the selection of the Winner.
10.The Winner will be selected and announced on or around one (1) week after the Closing Time from all valid Entries received by the Closing Time. Each Entrant agrees that we may use the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase to contact them in relation to the Competition. The Winner may also be announced across DEF 2026 official media channels, including digital and social media platforms.
11.The prize for winning the Competition (the "Prize") is as follows:
(a)One (1) Jetour T2 Luxury Plus vehicle. Vehicle colour may vary and will be subject to availability at the time of prize fulfilment.
Other than as set forth above, we will not be responsible for transport, food and other expenses in Dubai, transport to and from the Winner’s departure airport from the country of residence, and/or any other expenses associated with the Prize, including but not limited to vehicle registration, insurance, fuel, maintenance, or any other costs associated with ownership or use of the Prize.
Where the Winner is not a resident in the United Arab Emirates, any shipping, transportation, customs clearance, import duties, taxes, or other logistics required to deliver or register the Prize outside the United Arab Emirates shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. DCTCM will not be responsible for arranging or facilitating the shipment or delivery of the Prize outside the United Arab Emirates.
The Winner shall be responsible for complying with any applicable laws, regulations, and registration requirements in the jurisdiction where the Prize is to be registered or used.
If the Winner is not present in the United Arab Emirates at the time of notification, any travel, accommodation, visa, or other arrangements required to claim or arrange delivery of the Prize shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
12.We reserve the right to offer an alternative Prize, at any time, for any reason, without notice with one of comparable or greater value in our sole discretion. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
13.One (1) Prize will be awarded in total.
14.We will contact the Winner using the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase. The Winner must acknowledge the notification and accept the Prize within seven (7) days of being contacted, and may be required to provide proof of age, identity, and eligibility. If the Winner does not respond within the required timeframe, fails to provide the requested information, or does not meet the eligibility requirements, the Entrant will be deemed to have relinquished the right to the Prize and we reserve the right to select an alternative eligible Entrant or determine that the Prize will not be awarded.
15.By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees that we may use the Winner’s name, nationality, country of residence, and image in any Competition announcements and publicity material (including, but not limited to, online material) relating to the Competition across media channels and platforms operated by us. As a condition of receiving the Prize, the Winner may be required to complete and sign documentation (including consent forms) granting permission for us to film or photograph the Winner and to use such content for promotional and publicity purposes across our media channels and platforms.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
16.Our decision in respect of all matters in relation to this Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17.The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or otherwise associated with Platinumlist, and each Entrant releases Platinumlist from any liability in respect of the Competition.
18.Incomplete, illegible, or invalid Entries will be deemed void. The use of automated devices, scripts, or other means to manipulate or improperly generate Entries into the Competition is prohibited and any Entry created through such means shall be null and void.
19.We will not have any responsibility of any nature for defects or delays in transmission, interruptions in service due to system repairs, maintenance or other causes, failures or malfunctions of connections, satellite, network, cable, Internet Service Provider (ISP), phones, phone lines or telephone systems, traffic congestion on the internet, technical or mechanical malfunctions, or other malfunctions or errors relating to or in connection with the Competition, including, without limitation, errors in the administration of the Competition, the processing of Entries, or the announcement of the Prize.
20.By submitting an Entry, Entrants agree that:
(a) they shall abide by these Rules;
(b) We may use to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law) the Entrant’s name, city and country of residence, photograph, any oral or written statements, footage, and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purposes in any media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission or notification;
(c)they shall comply with all verifications required by us concerning the Entrant’s identity and eligibility;
(d)any indication of falsified, fraudulent, false, untruthful, incorrect or inexact identity or address of any Entrant may, in our sole discretion, lead to that Entrant being disqualified from the Competition;
(e)DCTCM and its affiliates, and any of their respective employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives (the “Released Parties”) shall not have any liability and shall be held harmless and indemnified by the Entrant for any claims, demands, obligations, liability, suits, actions, proceedings, judgments, fines, losses, damages, penalties, charges, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, legal fees) of whatsoever nature in relation to the Entrant or any other person or entity, including without limitation personal injury or death to the Entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, arising from or related to this Competition, or due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance, possession or use of the Prize; and
(f)to absolutely and forever release and discharge the Released Parties from all claims, damages, liabilities, obligations, expenses and causes of action which the Entrant may bring and/or could have brought against the Released Parties which relate to the Competition.
21.To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Released Parties shall not be liable under or in connection with these Rules, the Competition or the Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by an Entrant or the Winner, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the Entrant and/or us, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
22.DCTCM takes no responsibility for any damage, injury or loss of any kind whatsoever as a direct or indirect result of the Prize or promotion offered through any of the digital channels of DCTCM. Entrants shall at all times indemnify, protect, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, suits, actions, proceedings, judgments, fines, losses, damages, penalties, charges, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, legal fees) of whatsoever nature resulting or arising from the use of DCTCM’s digital and social media platforms.
23. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to void any Entries and disqualify any Entrant whom we believe has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Competition, or who is otherwise in violation of these Rules.
24.These Rules are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
