Oh Pancham, is a musical presentation on the music and life of R.D. Burman.
The concert will decode the music of the genius while exploring his unique to use Indian Ragas, folk tunes, rhythm & sound effects.

The evening will feature Dubai’s teen musical prodigy, Sreeyanka Banerjee along with well known RJ and theatre personality Gaggan Mudgal, who will share anecdotes, trivia, fun facts on Pancham.

Gaggan is an encyclopedia on Pancham and a household name in the UAE. His voice defines what velvet resonance sounds like. His rich baritone flows like words caress feelings. Radio is his first love. Acting is his passion. The stage is his Domain.

Script writing is what he does with a natural fervour. Sense of humour that seems inherent effortless. A man of diverse talents, he wears each accolade on his sleeve with immense humility.

Sreeyanka is a teen prodigy.

Trained extensively in Hindustani classical vocal in Guru Shishya Parampara, versatile Sreeyanka sings all geners of Indian music effortlessly.

At a very young age, she became very popular in the music circuit of Dubai and has performed in several live programs such as Suno1024 FM Junior Superstar, Malhaar’s popular Baithak, Bengali film festival to name a few.

By car: Head southeast on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd, continue onto Al Safa St/D71, and take a right onto Al Thanya St, where the school is located on your right.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Emirates Theatre from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers will be familiar with the location.
