The Wizard of Oz – a children's musical

A hurricane carries Dorothy and her little house from Kansas to a magical land. To get home, she must reach the Emerald City and ask the Great Wizard for help. On the way she meets three friends: the Scarecrow, who dreams of a brain; the Tin Woodman, who longs for a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, who wants courage. Together they defeat the wicked witch and discover that what they were looking for was inside them all along.

A story about friendship, courage, kindness and believing in yourself, told with live vocals, bright sets and costumes, light, choreography and special effects in TODA's immersive 360° space.

Presented with Melpomena Theatre, Dubai's first Russian-language amateur theatre and a member of the Association of Russian Theatres Abroad. Artistic director and stage director: Anna Shtatskaya.

By car: Take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) towards Dubai and exit at interchange 5. Merge onto Umm Suqeim Road (D63) and follow the signs to Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Once inside the Madinat Jumeirah complex, follow the internal roads to the parking areas near the souk.

By public transportation: Take the Dubai Metro to the Mall of the Emirates station. From there, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service for a short distance to the entrance of Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi or request a ride-hailing service to the Madinat Jumeirah complex from anywhere in Dubai. It is a famous destination, and most drivers will be familiar with the location.
