The Fridge Concert Series, where original music lives, returns this October for a 44th Season. Every Concert Series champions emerging talent in the region, kicking things off this season on October 1st with David Sagamon's propulsive hip-hop beats and razor-sharp jazz rhythms. On October 8th, supporting act Serge Volant will build layered textures with modular synths, before dreamy synth duo WYWY take over to debut their latest album. October 15th delivers an urban soul experience with Chinua Hawk, who's shared the stage with Celine Dion and featured on a Kanye West-produced Talib Kweli track. Written and directed by award winning Australian writer/director Alex Broun, assisted by Alexander Rondel, and performed by a quartet of Dubai’s finest actors, torn is a sexy, fast-paced, brutal, funny and at times moving dissection of post-millennium relationships. New York. Today. Four people in various stages of connection … Susan (Nadine Basiony), a lawyer, is in a relationship with Cade (Osman Aboubakr), an advertising executive. Then there’s Gerry (Basel Yafi), a voice-over artist, who is in love with Daniella, (Kethy Kist) Susan’s PA. With echoes of Patrick Marber’s Closer, torn is about the impossibility and possibility of love in a modern world where choices abound and nothing is forever. Don’t miss it. Since its inception in early 2007 The Fridge has become widely known for its collection of edgy musicians on corporate bookings - from dinners, weddings, awards and launches to events as prestigious as the grand opening of the Atlantis Hotel where The Fridge supplied the only local entertainment consisting of up to 70 unique artists.

Behind this corporate front however, The Fridge's philosophy is built on a passionate focus on locally based talent, promoting, managing, collaborating and constantly looking for platforms for the growing music scene in Dubai.

In its fundamental essence The Fridge is a platform that allows professional musicians to meet, create and grow, be it in the form of corporate bookings, sponsorship, jam-sessions or public performances.

Based in a Warehouse in Al Quoz, we host regular live music events to showcase local talent, as well as using the space for rehearsals, jamm-sessions and workshops.
