Located near the Union House site — the historic site of the signing of the Union Agreement in 1971 — and near the flagpole on the Jumeirah Beach Road, the museum building is in the shape of a manuscript, inspired by the Unification Agreement, with the seven leaning columns representing the pens that signed the declaration of the constitution in 1971.
