The home of original music, The Fridge Concert Series, kicks off season 43 on 23rd April with pop and soul artist Lexie. She is supported by the indie and pop-folk sounds of Ryan Keen. On 30th April, celebrate International Jazz Day with jazz aficionados Opoku Sanaa and Friends. Joined by a stellar ensemble of renowned musicians, ‘A Night of Qisse’ by Gaya on 7th May is a multi-disciplinary indie musical featuring songs in English, Hindi, and Tamil. Homegrown pop and indie band The TalkinToys hit the stage on 14th May supported by the distinctive South Asian musical sounds of Sreeja Chakra.

The Fridge is the brainchild of renowned harpist Shelley Frost. Since its inception in early 2007 The Fridge has become widely known for its collection of edgy musicians on corporate bookings - from dinners, weddings, awards and launches to events as prestigious as the grand opening of the Atlantis Hotel where The Fridge supplied the only local entertainment consisting of up to 70 unique artists.

Behind this corporate front however, The Fridge's philosophy is built on a passionate focus on locally based talent, promoting, managing, collaborating and constantly looking for platforms for the growing music scene in Dubai.

In its fundamental essence The Fridge is a platform that allows professional musicians to meet, create and grow, be it in the form of corporate bookings, sponsorship, jam-sessions or public performances.

Based in a Warehouse in Al Quoz, we host regular live music events to showcase local talent, as well as using the space for rehearsals, jamm-sessions and workshops.
