Welcome to the new season & grand opening of Level 41! From the creators of Groove On The Grass, The Artist Network presents... FOCUS It's time for us to focus on what really matters. Over the last season in Dubai our music scene has grown tremendously. As a result of many parties, many artists,and many options for our weekends, the crowd has been displaced. It has become harder to find a solid vibe which you are guaranteed good music, good sound,a cool open minded crowd, and a suitable venue for the party to go down. This event series during the summer is designed for us to get together with familiar faces, and create a vibe which we can call our own. The focus is to strengthen our community, to support good music, to express ourselves, and to be around like minded people. We look forward to working in the great space of Level 41 for their season opening party on July 23rd, & two more event on August 13th and September 10th. As usual The Artist Network & Groove on the grass crew will be cultivating the most forward thinking artist lineups. For the first event we have two debuts to Dubai. Techno heavy weight Sam Paganini from Italy has blown up over the last few years with huge releases on Drumcode and he will grace us with his sounds on this opening night. Also our double headliner will be Italian Drumcode, Desolat and Mooh Harbour star Marco Faraone, you guys are in for a treat. On support duty we have Deian & Kaytek. Lineup: ☆SAM PAGANINI☆ (Drumcode, Cocoon) Italy https://www.facebook.com/SamPaganiniOfficial Bio: 2013 was without any doubt a highly successful and stellar year for Sam. With the release of the “Body To Body Ep” on the legendary Cocoon Recordings and the “Black Leather Ep” on Drumcode, both reaching the highest spot on Beatport’s Techno Chart, his outstanding musical journey has achieved a great renown on the Underground circuit as well as on the Mainstream channels. The track “Polyester” (which along with “Fire In My Arms” is one of the smashing hits from the “Body To Body Ep”) has been featured both on the playlists of many Underground DJs and on those of some of biggest names in the industry like Moby, becoming Beatport’s “Techno Track Of 2013”. Likewise, the track “Chocolate” from the “Black Leather Ep”, which has further sealed the artistic bond with Adam Beyer and Drumcode, whom Sam has signed 3 EP's over the last 2 years with, was on Beatport Techno Chart’s Top Spot for more than 4 weeks. Since 1996, a landmark year for him thanks to the worldwide success of his track “Zoe” as Paganini Traxx, Sam’s stylistic experimentation has always gone strong, leading him to collaborate and release his music on several record labels until Techno pioneer Richie Hawtin welcomed him to his groundbreaking Plus8 imprint in 2011 with the “Cobra Ep”. To this day, Sam proudly stands out as the only Italian artist to release under his own name on 3 acclaimed labels like Plus8, Cocoon and Drumcode. Beside his studio work and production time, Sam’s DJ career is steadily on the rise: his sets are characterized by powerful grooves and have been recently described as “Sexy Groovy Dark Techno”, which speaks volumes, literally, on what to expect from his performances. He has taken the stage at legendary clubs such as Berghain (Berlin) and Cielo (New York), which shows how diverse and truly knowledgeable his crowds are. 2014 will see him tour internationally all over the globe, with a special gig already booked at the huge Awakenings Festival in June and Tomorrowland Festival in July. ☆ @MARCO FARAONE ☆ (Drumcode, Desolat, Moon Harbour) Italy https://www.facebook.com/marcofaraonedj?fref=ts Bio: Although still barely into his twenties, Marco had the privilege of a musical background in his family, allowing him to delve into experiments with electronic music from such early times as playing his first gig aged only 14 in his hometown of Lucca, Italy. Almost 10 years later Marco is working hard to present his sound on the international music scene, with scores of releases included his 2010 HIT Ep 'STRANGE NEIGHBORS' on Moon Harbour, his solo EPs 'WANT LIFE TIME' and 'HARD TIME TO TRAVEL', creating a real stir and were featured on playlists of top DJ's everywhere. Along with further releases on labels like Get Physical Music, Sci+Tec, Truesoul, Cècille, Be As One, All Inn, Break New Soil, Four:Twenty, inMotion music, Superfiction, Catwash and for his own label Etruria Beat, it seems that Marco will be fast developing an enviable discography for such a young artist in the scene.
