The Global Notes season of concerts from Dubai Opera and Encore Performing Arts and the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai continues with Chapter Seven in the Studio on 27 April 2024. We have gathered incredible Emirati musical talents from throughout the UAE to perform on the Studio Stage at Dubai Opera. Amira Fouad, Founder and Artistic Director of Encore, said: “It is an honour to present these incredible artists on the Dubai Opera stage in the Studio. The UAE continues to flourish as a center of excellence for culture and music in the wider region, through continued access to inclusive education of the highest level and world class experiences. One of the goals of this series ‘Global Notes’ has been to demonstrate the depth and breadth of talent that has been developed in our country and we are proud to have this special concert on our calendar this year.” These talented local musicians and guest artists will perform a mixed programme of music from evocative Arabic melodies, modern film scores, opera and classical favourites. Most recently, his latest album Impressions won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental. Performing worldwide and selling more than four million albums, he has found a form of creative expression that begins in jazz and expands beyond the limits of any single genre.
