Launched in Dec 2010, HOUSE ARREST is a truly underground night created by people who simply want to throw 'a damn good party'! Our residents are an eclectic mix of DJs within themselves, lending HOUSE ARREST the ammunition it needs to stay committed, stay intimate and most importantly, stay underground. Our policy is simple...we created a night that provides DJs with a platform where they can play the set they've always wanted to play, bypassing venue protocol and embracing a true sense of belonging on the night! HOUSE ARREST would be nothing without it's dance floor family that is made up of a young, knowledgeable and truly 'up-for-it' blend of people that support it not because it's hip or talked about, but because we've made the party as much theirs as it is ours! Their ability to walk in to HOUSE ARREST, wherever we may host it and feel at home, means everything to us and that is primarily why this little army of music lovers are going to be around for a while! Tadi is all about perfect fusions of sounds. His tracks swarm from soulful to dubby, tech & wonky grooves which are always funk flavored and ooze with emotion that take the listener to an entirely different place. Exploring the world of sound as a music producer he is currently signed to Cold Busted and Hotbox music. Not too fond of DJ bios, he invites you to check his sounds and let the music speak instead. ____________________________________________________________ RICH LE FISH ____________________________________________________________ Long-time resident, Rich Le Fish as he likes to be called, is not necessarily the newest kid on the block. Familiar in some circles, but still largely a hidden gem, Rich is bringing his particular style to House Arrest this time around. Rich's roster of local gigs include slots at Analog Room, Nasimi, Submarine, Catwalk and Media One. In an age of the 'digital DJ', Rich is happy to anchor his sound and his skills to a strictly vinyl approach. If you were to ask Rich "What is your favourite time slot to play?" His response is quite clearly 'after hours'.
