The Electric Universe project was founded in 1991 by Boris Blenn and Michael Dressler in Hamburg, Germany after being inspired by the Voov Festival Experience. Their first psytrance tracks were produced with just 5 pieces of equipment including an Atari 1080. Their tracks found their way into the hands of Spirit Zone label owner and Electric Universe went on to become one of the living greats of the Electronic Dance Music scene.

The Star Diver album released in 1997, with the massive track Online Information which became a blueprint for breakbeat trance and In 1999 when Roland Wedig joined Electric Universe, the duo went on to produce Meteor, one of the most often played guitar driven psytrances tune of all times. In 2004 'Cosmic Experience' was released including 'The Prayer', a track known worldwide for the amazing vocals of an Indian prayer.

From 2006 to 2011 another 4 full albums were released and at the end of 2013 he joined Belgian label Dacru Records where his legacy continues starting from the 12th full album onwards. With more than 150,000 records sold, he's one of the top producers of the scene. The core of the Electric Universe productions and performances has to be its infectious, uplifting energy.
