''Short+Sweet 2023, the ‘’biggest little play festival’’ returns for its 11th Edition in Dubai.

The popular 10-minute play festival will run from the 21st of January to the 12th of March, 2023 at The Junction, AlSerkal Avenue.

With this year’s theme ‘’Uncover New Dimensions’’, the festival brings the Dubai Theater Community together for 8 weeks of theatrical magic, community bonding, and networking as they push new boundaries of creativity.

Featuring nearly a 100 10-minute plays who battle it out for a spot in the Gala Finals, the participants can be of any age, cultural background, and the play of any format – the ONLY rule – it shouldn’t exceed 10 minutes.

This edition too will feature the Regional Week (3rd week of the festival) – which is hyper focused on non-English plays.

The 4th week this year is the Horror & Romance themed week – where the plays are of 10 minutes based on either or both themes.''
