Cavalli Club to host Stereo Love DJ – Edward Maya - Unplugged & Live

Dubai, UAE: Internationally renowned and acclaimed DJ, Edward Maya, will be coming to Dubai as part of his global tour, Desert Rain. Dance music fans across city will be beside themselves to hear the news that the star musician will be appearing at Cavalli Club, Restaurant & Lounge on 16 September. Playing live, the artist will deliver powerful vocals, alongside his DJ set, backed up by his violinist. His distinct mix of award-winning ancient Romanian music and distinctive electronic beats, are guaranteed to make for a memorable evening of music and entertainment.

The DJ, who is widely regarded as one of the top DJ’s on the international music scene, shot to fame in 2009 with the release of his track ‘Stereo Love’, which features Russian DJ Vika Jigulina. The track quickly entered music charts across the globe making the top five in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and Oman, and was certified platinum in Canada, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and double platinum in Spain.

Following the success of Stereo Love, Maya was shortlisted as a finalist in the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, Top Dance Song category, alongside the likes of Lady Gaga, Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup and La Roux, firmly establishing himself amongst the most prestigious of music circles across the globe.  He quickly followed the success of Stereo Love with two other singles – ‘This is My Life’ and ‘Desert Rain’, both of which have been followed by world tours. 

Desert Rain, his current tour, has sold out in several countries from USA, to Ecuador, Sri Lanka and South Africa, besides many more.
